A Season of Waiting
It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been a bit busy over at these parts. I've had tons of half finished posts ready to go. But sometimes life has a way of turning upside down on us..
Last year, the week after my 30th birthday, we received the best news yet!
I won't go into too many details, but our chances of getting pregnant naturally were deemed slim from the get go. It had been a topic of discussion in our home - what to do if we couldn't carry our own child - and we were ready to open our hearts for whatever was given to us.
But God was good with us. So unbelievably good.
Since finding out, our lives became a game of balancing school, work, hormones, and organization projects, while still producing work for this beloved shop of mine. I apologize for the lack of posts, and for what will soon be a lot of recaps as well - I do have a family on the other side of the continent, after all.
I appreciate your support throughout all of this. My clients are the best - hands down. So supportive and understanding when I took quite a bit longer with orders than I normally would have.
I can't wait for this season of waiting to be over. To hold this precious little one in my arms, to see my husband in this new role of a dad, and to experience this blessing of my family. I'm humbled throughout this process, and I can't wait to share a little more with you.
